As my Mom-Mom's Alzheimer's progressed, she fell into a child-like version of herself. She would sing, giggle, and smile, but was unable to communicate her coinciding thoughts. I watched this transformation as a child myself, and found it most fascinating imagining what she was seeing with her mind's eye.

This ceramic landscape represents the imagination of an Alzheimer's patient reverting back to a child-like state of mind.
